And we are back. We spent a few days in Bahia Creek. A beautiful beach far away from everything. No running water, no gas, no electricity (well, there is electricity but where we were, there was none!). Eternal white sand dunes where we layed at night to find shooting stars and satellites…  we tried to teach my husband -the dutch guy- about the southern hemisphere constellations… The patagonian skies are fantastic for this. There is no light pollution because there are barely no cities. We were 160km away from the nearest city…

We fished a bit, we played on the sun, we talked a lot… solved all the problems this planet has… ecologicall, political, economical…ahaaha It was great.

Anyway, dear friends, family and readers… starting next week all those who have signed up to receive Florcita’s newsletter (right up there, top right corner) will be taking part automatically (unless you state otherwise) of a few give aways… might not be a whole lot of stuff, but some. A bit of wool, prefelts made by me, some exotic fibres that I brought with me from NL (which those in southamerica especially where they are difficult to be found  might like to try out before placing big orders) and stuff like that. My suitcase is small and I have too much stuff with me.

So, if you haven’t signed up yet… do so… be sure to follow the whole process. You will receive an email after signing up to confirm that it was indeed you who signed up. Follow the instructions there because otherwise you won’t receive the newsletter. I’ve already sent out ONE newsletter… if you haven’t received it, it is because you didn’ t complete the whole process. Check your inbox! I see on the list that I have that there are a few people who are not active because of that… and there is little I can do.

Volvimos de nuestros días en Bahía Creek, a unos 160km de Viedma. Que lindas playas! Rutas de ripio, no hay gas, agua corriente ni electricidad (bueno, si hay electricidad, no había en donde estabamos nosotros!). Pasamos unos días muy lindos en unas playas extensas y casi desérticas. Nadie sentado arriba tuyo! Los chicos corrieron, nosotros charlamos y solucionamos todos los problemas del mundo… de toda índole! Pescamos un poco y a la noche nos tiramos en los medanos blancos a mirar las estrellas. Nada mejor que un cielo patagónico para poder descubrir estrellas fugaces, satélites… le tratamos de enseñar las constelaciones del hemosferio sur al holandés que solo se conoce las del hemisferio norte.

Ahora es momento de lentamente ponerme a ordenar lo que tengo y lo que no. Y veo que la valija es muy chica para la cantidad de cosas que he juntado. Asi que, empezando la semana que viene, habrá una seguidilla de “GIVE AWAYS” que vendrían a ser sorteos y regalos de material de fieltro para todas aquellas personas que esten inscriptas para recibir el Boletín de informaciones de Florcita. Hay lana patagónica, algunas lanitas e hilos peridos, algunos prefelts hechos por mi y algunas fibras exóticas como bambu y lino que me traje de Holanda y todavía quedan.

Todos los que están anotados para recibir el Boletín de noticias de Florcita participan automáticamente (al menos que aclaren lo contrario). Si queres participar y no estás anotado… solo tenes que escribir tu dirección de email en la esquina derecha… ahi arriba, adonde dice “Sign up for the newsletter”.  Vas a recibir un email para que confirmes que fuiste vos el que pediste anotarte… sigan todo el proceso hasta el final porque sino no quedan como “activos” en la lista y no reciben el boletín. Yo ya mande un boletín, si no lo recibiste es porque no has terminado el proceso de inscripción (es hacer click en un link, no se preocupen, no es mucho!). Yo tengo varios en la lista como que no están activos y es poco lo que yo puedo hacer para cambiar eso, asi que revisen sus casillas!!!
