Well, before I put these photos in the archive and forget about them, here are a couple more blankets that I made in Argentina.
The first on is a baby blanket. Very soft, made of merino with silk and bamboo. The flowers are made of prefelts done with hand dyed wool.
Esta primer mantita es para una bebe… merino con seda y bamboo. Las flores están hechas con prefelts teñidos a mano.
The second one is a HUGE one: 2mx2m. In the photo it can not really be apreciated the size of it. I was trying to take good pictures, rushing around on the last they before we left. It was made for my big brother who loves birds. He wanted something simple for his new house. White merino as the base and hand dyed blue for the bird. I made some carvings, added lose locks, bamboo… and a button for the eye.
Esta segunda manta es enorme: 2mx2m. En la foto no puede realmente apreciarse el tamaño. Estaba sacando fotos el mismo día que nos volviamos. La hice para mi hermano mayor que ama a los pájaros. Queria algo simple para su nueva casa. Merino blanco es la base y merino azul, teñido a mano, para el p;ajaro. Hice algunos tallados, agregue rulos, bambu … y un botón para el ojo.
