Flickr Favorites Tuesday: Parasol

Flickr Favorites Tuesday: Parasol, originally uploaded by Marian Florcita.

When it starts getting hot around here, people always assume that since I am latin, I looooove the 30C. That I feel at home with a strong sun and sweating with every step you take. The truth is that in summer, it is a very warm place where I come from… but I grew up by the ocean, which means that one doesn’t have to suffer the warmth. You just go sit at the beach, swim… enjoy the ocean’s breeze. And that is what I miss right now. The chance to just go to the beach without much inconvenient. The beach is a few hours away from here so it isn’t and every day thing. Oh well…

Now, If I could just combine the last flickr mosaic I saw on ice cream and yours plus find a warm day around here (they’re hiding) then I’ve GOT something!!

I know what you mean – not being able to be at the beach in summer is always so depressing. Luckily we’re near the coast now, and it’s beautiful (although still a bit of a drive) Hope you can get to cool off soon.
